Wes, thanks for confirming my sometimes sketchy memory. I
was intrigued at the time I read it but have never figured out why that
worked.
Maybe I'll ask our aerodynamics guy. If I find something
out I'll let you know.

That was the factory sponsored GMC Motorsports 200 mph
truck. They tried
different bed covers and found that the cover over the rear
half of the bed
was the most effective by far. Don Stringfellow passed that
along ... he
drove it.
