So. I'm just as good cutting my own wires out of good old Packard 440 twisted
metal core as I am spending $80 for a set of fancy red, yellow or blue brand,
right? I know I asked about these wires a while back, but a little more
reinforcment will just make me happier. I don't really care about listening to
the FM while I race anyway!

I have dynoed a lot of engines in my life and the only ones I ever made a
big
power increase is when I put them on the right plugs after trying my
"modified
firing order" LOL
I have tested wires on the dyno everywhere from 19.95 Napa wires to the mega
buck
wires all you buy is a little resistance to heat and that is about it.on 650
hp
they were all between 3 or 4 hp..and that is the accuracy of the dyno at
best +-
0.5%. I don't care what they advertise when you buy a dyno that is about
it.
I am going to print a copy of the article on this site about plug wires, I
wish I
could only get half of my customers to believe it!
