Dont know about anyone else but the main reason for the very frequent filter
changes is it makes the manufacturer / seller etc $$$$$ to back this up Car
ran a ford 250000 miles changed the oil every 5000 miles the filter every
20000 miles compression was still ok when sold bike, ran a BMW R100 RT
300000 miles Changes oil every 2500 miles oil filter every 5th oil change I
had to strip it down at 180000 miles to replace a broken gear return spring
the bores still had the hone marks on them ,was still going strong when sold
secrets in frequent oil changes
