The other factor in why I think I want to use the headlight for carburetor
intake. With 100 square inches forced air through the radiator, if I leave the
back of my cowl induction open, I think a lot of the air will flow out from
under the hood and up over the windshield through that open space. If I close
that off and use it as a ducted air intake for the carburetor, then the air
that is forced in through the radiator will have nowhere to go except to change
direction and blow out under the floorboards and frame. It just seems to me
that I'll get a smoother airflow if I take carburetor air in through a hadlight
duct and let the radiator air flow through and out the cowl vent.
