I'm no Studebaker expert but I once owned a '57 Studebaker Golden Hawk
(blown 289CID V8) and liked it. 

The Raymond Lowey- designed '53 Starlite Coupe was considered a classic and
quite a few of the early Studes ran (and still run) on the Salt. They look
pretty evil when they are lowered and have a chopped top.
