Was glad to renew old frienships at El Mirage this week-end.
Dale C. travelled with us from the desolate desert to the even
more desolate EM... got to talk to quite a few "listers" there
including Glen, Dale P., Louise, Missed talking to Rick, Jack
and Tom B., but like Tom, I don't usually wander far from the
car...always something to fuss over. By the time ran, the
course was pretty much toast... The back-end started to come
around on me in 5th gear in sight of the lights, (saw
somewhere in the close neighborhood of 9000 on the tach when
it broke loose ) so I had to pedal out of it & motored through
the lights at 152. Oh well, there's always another day. The
great prople & great racing make the 800 mile trip worth it.
