Only thing I can add is that on a 2 stroke engine, the rings are generally
pinned to keed then from rotating and getting hung up in a port. I always
thought they all rotated, otherwise wouldn'y you have a wear line up and
down the cylinder where the gap is? Heck of a good question but what is the
payoff?
