Some of us used to do that back in the 1950s---used a Model T vibrator coil
with spark plugs in tailpipe extensions, got the blue fire characteristic of
recombination of the exhaust gases under engine braking especially if you
set the carb idle screws on the rich side (or did some choking at other
times).

But injecting propane? Its been done before but any accumulation could be a
good way to blow your pipes or keyster off. Blew the roof off a garage once
with propane--fortunately I was outside when it happened.
