No I was pointing out why the stiffness is not the only consideration. When
I looked at the material choices one of the things I gave some consideration
to was the yield strength for the button to pull through the panel. hence my
opinion that the material is of some consideration. When ever I make an
engineering decision I always test my reasoning by examining the extremes to
see if what I believe to be true will provide logical results at both
extremes along with the set of conditions I am working with. Call it a plot
of the reasonability of the solution if you like.
