Push trucks go the outside just like now. Yes, they will cross the short
course but they will do that well before the short course car is flagged off.
Aren't most push trucks off the course before the car makes it to the 5 mile?
If
they aren't, there is no reason they should stay on the course that long
unless there was a miss hap in which case, the short course car wouldn't be
flagged off anyway.
