Huh - my TF has had DieHard batterys in it since ... since the mid '60s I 
think.  We've never experienced any problem with them.  Now that I live so 
far from a Sears location, I've been using Interstate brand batteries in my 
other cars.  (I wonder if they're related to "Intercity?")  They've been 
great, but so far I haven't had to change the battery in the TF - although I 
may have to do so in the spring, since I left the battery in the car when I 
stored it late this fall.  (The TF did a short stint as my daily driver in 
the late fall.)
