Then my WAG ... there is nothing wrong with your clutch.

Hmmm ... might be that the 2nd gear baulk ring is worn.

Now that I think about it, thats what I do ... ;^)   It has become second
nature .. I do it no matter what I'm drivin'.

Barney ... do ya think that this do to tranny wear or that its just the
nature of the sliding spur 1st gear?
