You have a rare one - pretty much all the later cars had radios (they
werent very good in those days bit they were there!!)
The location youve chosen is the most usual and it isnt difficult to
install - 

Cut your hole through the top of the wing, remove the pass side kick
panel and feed the aerial wire through the inner bulkhead (there are a
couple of small holes for this) then under the dash into the rear of the
console. - poking this wire through from the top can take a bit of time.
you may have to remove the splash guard of the inner wing.
