  The actual physical process is completely different as you
know, but the learnings about "molten metal behaviour" will be
useful.

  The actual welding is different, but you'll be able to bravely
take on MIG welding already knowing how to grind a clean edge,
how to clamp, how to protect the rest of the car from heat, and
with the confidence that you'll be able to do it.
