Hi Ed,

>From what you write, I think I may have touched a nerve, but I am really not
sure because I find your writing style intensely difficult to comprehend. Would
you please try to include at least a few complete sentences in your (hardly)
poetic replies. I'm not sure if I should laugh at your hysterical sense of
humor, or cower in fear of an untreated schizoid.

If you were one of those dealer people back then, I sincerely apologize for
offending you as I did; I should have taken the opportunity to offend them even
more for their having contributed to the demise of a great lineage by their
cavalier attitude towards something called workmanship or craftsmanship. The
cars today have no character compared to our LBCs. If it weren't for diagnostic
computers and on board computers all those rice-burners would be dead in the
water. We'll see how many of them are still around 30 years from now. If I am
and I still own them, my MGA and MGB-GT will be.

A 1962 MGB would pull 0.80 G's on 5.5" bias ply tires, and had a nearly perfect
50/50 weight distribution. How many decades passed before that became
commonplace? In a car that anyone could afford to buy? Check the tire width and
adhesion available today, and compare that to what MG had available back then. I
find a lot to admire about these old cars, and very little to criticize.

Frankly Ed, I can't figure out if you hate MG's or like them. I like them, and
come pretty close to hating everyone who had something to do with causing their
premature death. Dimwits come in all shapes and sizes. Please make some sense
when you write next time.

Good Night Ed,

Jim
