There are two size boxes. One for the chrome bumpered cars that have the two
battery boxes and the other for rubber bumpered cars with a single battery
compartment. I have a group 26 Interstate battery in  the BGT with no room
to spare. I have heard that some G26 batteries have hold down extrusions
that will interfer with the fit. Don't know what a M!@t@ uses but group 21
batteries are easy to find here on long island.
