Does this mean that my Toyota Landcruiser's predictable tendency of burned 
out exhaust valves every 60,000 miles was a known design feature?

67 MGBGT - the driver when its not too hot outside
72 MGB (restoration - just a body right now)
74 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 => my convertible right now
