Oddly enough, run-on can also be caused by too much advance, so if advancing
it doesn't work, you can try retarding it. You can also try the "Italian
tune-up" technique: fill up with premium and go for a full throttle freeway
blast, long enough to get the engine thoroughly warm. The agency will
disavow any knowledge of your actions...
