I know this was asked before except my circumstances are a bit different.
What can I use to compress the front springs? And where could I find such a
spring compressor? NAPA?
I know its possible to compress the springs by using the weight of the
car/engine as I have done it before. But in this case, the engine is not in
the car yet. Plus I have another front end that I would like to disassemble
that is lying on the floor of my garage. I did remove the shock absorber on
one end which has allowed the spring to expand but it looks like it still
is under some tension.
If any of you have successfully used some kind of spring compressor, please
let me know. I'm hoping to do the front end this weekend.
