I might be going out on a limb here - but why installing
an alarm ?
If you want to protect your stereo. Install it some place
inconspicuous and use a cover plate. I have one of those
removable face-plate type of stereo and have never had
a problem with someone trying to steal anything from my
car.
All valuable are locked away in the trunk. I installed a
keyed battery cut-off and the location if the battery in
the MGB makes it a snap to install. Every time you leave
the car, take the battery key with you. The car is totally
immobilized. No juice - no go!!!
