Is there any consensus, good or bad about the
Moss supercharger for our MGB's, I'm trying
to gather information.

I can speak to the Moss SC, but I fitted a SC from Hans
Peterson in Australia about 5 years ago. I LOVE IT !!!!
I installed it on a fresh 3-main and had it dynoed at
98HP at the rear wheels (approx 125hp at the flywheel).

I produces a lot of grunt (torque) and pulls like a steam
Engine. I used a couple of different pulleys and settled
On the 7lb pulley. The SC comes on strong at 2100 rpm and
Pulls all the way to 5000 rpm. It's great for overtaking
On country lanes and for passing on the freeway at 70 mph,
When you nee to accelerate to 80mph quickly. Takes a bit
Of getting used to as there is a slight lag below 2000rpm,
But you can overcome that easily.
