I have GPS on my phone too.  I don't use it much.  I prefer maps like
Barney and others.  It makes you know where you are, and you make the
decision of how to get somewhere.  Sometimes I'd like the scenic route, not
the quickest, shortest, or one that just avoids freeways.

I'm setting up a TSD road rallye in Idaho, and I have used the GPS to
figure things out when the map was inaccurate, or not detailed enough -
even then though, we have a lot of dirt roads, and I can 't use them.  My
GPS doesn't tell me where those are........then again my Idaho atlas said
roads existed that didn't too.
