I sent the headers from my Chevelle to Jet Hot. I called their number
to make arrangements and figured they'd be going to the Pennsylvania
facility, but they had me ship them to Pascagoula, MS instead. BTW,
they stand behind their guarantee about being totally satisfied or your
money back. I was quoted a price of $240 for coating and shipping.
When UPS showed up with them, I had to hand over a check for an
additional $35 or they would not leave them. I was understandably upset
at the additional uxexplained charge. I subsequently complained to the
President of the company about this shady practice, and he mailed me a
check for $275 and said that as I wasn't satisfied with the service, I
was entitled to my money back. Wow, free header coating!! I couldn't
believe it. The quality of the coating is fantastic, no peeling,
pitting, rusting, or discoloration. Highly recommended if you are going
that route. They will do colors other than the polished silver (black
for sure, I don't know about others).
