There has been many threads on the group related to sludge problems,
if ya clean out the carb and pump, but negelect the gas line--you'll
probably have the same problem again years later. I would go ahead
and replace all of the lines as well, my work 56 gave me just absolute
fits going through the same problem. Only after replacing all the lines
did it finally get straightned out..       Just a thought....wayne
