Steven,
261's went to full-flow systems in '58. There are two large pipe-threaded
bosses on the drivers side, just above the pan rail. I'm not
sure exactly what kind of plumbing was used to the filter, my
'62 261 was missing all that when I bought it. Earlier 261's
used the bypass filters like on 235s.

Mine has the 235 type filter mounted with the same small lines.
