It's a pain! You will want to build a crate for the hood, which can
take all day even if you have all the wood and tools handy. Then, you
need to figure out how much it will cost for truck freight...you can get
quotes from cheap to outrageous, because truck freight rates are based
on categories, and they just don't have a category for crated old
automotive sheetmetal. Try around until you get a good rate. Most
bigger cities (500k + population) have a few truck depots. Usually you
can get a rate break if you drop it off and have it picked up at the
depots.
