Hmmmm, I was told that the captain's bars were for 261s only, two bars for a
US casting and one bar for a Canadian casting (may be the other way around).
Everyone with a Chevrolet inline run out, look at your blocks, and let us
know!!

Sometimes the head casting number doesn't work as a 235 head is easily
modified to work on the 261 (as I have modified a 235 848 head to fit my
Canadian 261).  Also, some later, full-flow 261s can be IDed by the larger
diameter oil filter lines.

I hope you've got a 261!!!
