GMC engines must be the same, right?! S >>
Hey, real fenton chevy headers wont fit gmc and visa versa. but what Patric's
sells today is a repo cast chevy fenton header , for gmc's its the same chevy
set up kinda modefied, .i still had to do a lot of grinding to get the ports
to all line up properly and then i had to modefy the manifold keepers by
welding some thick washers to them.its not just a bolt on for GMC's......patric
said it was too costly to make a gmc mold when he sells more chevy fentons than
gmc......i learned all this the hard way..then i put on about 2 feet of
straight pipe on each half and drove it to the mufler shop for rest of the
exhaust..man was it loud..first i found another stock muffler hanger/bracket
from jim
carters ,reversed and hung it on the right side of the drive shaft.so now it
just looks to have 2 stock mufflers..........but it came out nice when it was
all done...since mine is a 228 i didnt ask 302 questions.here is patrics ph
#520
836 1117 it says 7 days a week....steve
53 gmc 228 with dual zeniths over fentons
