Not sure if any of you have seen this site, but the calculators are great
for playing what if scenarios with tire size, and gear ratios:

Just click on the calculators link on the left.  Plug in your tire size to
get tire height, then use that number in the RPM calculator to get RPM at
any speed with any gear ratio, even if you're running a 700R4.  Assuming you
have some control over gear selection, and a lot of control over tire
height, you can manipulate the two until you get the numbers you want, then
go build it.
