A good cruising RPM for a 350 is around 3000, a 28 in tire [9.50 x 15] with
3.38 gear with a 1:1 trans is around 2900 at 70 MPH. I prefer the 3.56 for
all around performance and gas mileage.

I have 3.73 gears, a turbo 350, and 29 inch tires. 3000 RPM is between 65-70
MPH. Seems about right to me.
