if and i cringingly repete if an individual of questionable nature were to
restore a vintage pinto it would not be technically allowed a vintage
registration with a improved fuel tank(safety cell). the state laws are
just abut too strict in the statement about "being as it left the factory".
now i understand this reasoning. that does not mean i suport it. i also
realise that my car is an extreme exception to what is normally registered
to street use. a scca production class sports car fron the late 50's/early
60's was in most cases a very streetable car in most cases, compared to the
evolotion of the car of the same class used in today's competition. and
another note , all states laws on these items are a bit difrent here and
there but since we just bought our home last fall i think moving to a less
restrictive state is out of the question(unless of course larry wants to
come and help pack my garage/museum?:)). (didn't think so i scares me just
typing this! there is a lot of stuff in there larry, right)

chuck.
thanking all for replies!
thinking of ordering a rising sun flag shaped rubber stamp and some red
paint . (how many kills to be a fighter ace?)
