Bryan,
No long wait and no 'additional dealer markup' here in Oregon.  Order from a 
dealer
in Southern Oregon w/CA package (apx $150).  No sales tax either.... however... 
you
will have to pay CA tax  UNLESS the car has 90days/7500 miles (considered used &
taxed accordingly).
