I've recently begun driving a RHD Morris and have no trouble with it at all.
Of course, it has an automatic tranny so shifting is a piece of cake. As
far as perception problems, its kind of like a video game, what appears on
the screen (outside the windshield) needs to look 'right' regardless of
where your head is. I've found no trouble centering in my lane, changing
lanes or whatever.
Best of all is having my 11 year old start 'air driving' and I slink down in
the seat. Makes 'em look twice.
