I never liked IRIS blue. Way too bright turquoise color. Maybe I just saw a
bad example. Usually the rule is. The more body work it needs, the brighter
the color to blind onlookers and hide the blemishes!

What does Iris Blue look like? Been surfing the net for a look at this color
on a Bugeye but haven't found it yet.
So far the nicest pics I have seen are BRG and Black
I think you maybe right about simple colors.
Yellow could work, but I think you need to get the right amount of
intensity.
