I have to sell a car. Do i sell the precious Midget and pocket $1000 max or
do i sell the Nissan and pocket $3500? The Nissan. But that means i have to
take the MG from being a work in progress to drivable.
To do so I need the following things: (maybe more to make it comfortably
drivable)
These are for a '61 948cc:
Valve cover gasket
Exhaust manifold gasket
Flasher unit
Accelerator pedal (I have one in the bucket-o-parts, but i think it's from a
Fiat)
Radiator bottom hose (i broke mine getting to the exhaust manifold, don't
ask)
Manual brake switch? i have the hydraulic one, but i need a quick fix
Hopefully a tachometer that works or a speedo that's not in km/h
Last but not least... a smooth case tranny.
The tranny i have now works, but sounds like a garbage disposal 1st-3rd gear.
I can probably drive it without a tach, i just like to have some idea of where
my rpms are. This should get me running and legal in the state of Indiana.
Comfort comes in Stage 2. By Stage 3, I won't be embarrased to drive it.
