Whatever you do Bev...hang on to the car.  I've let a lot of good cars go 
over the years and I regret nearly every one of them...(maybe not the $50 '62 
Rambler).

When you consider the alternative...even if you spend $4000.00 to fix the 
car...you will spend this much eventually on any hobbie.  Ask my wife the 
quilter, crafts person.

Also, if you have to replace this piece of transportation, what's the 
cheapest new vehicle you can buy? $12K?  Three times what it would take to 
put your Midget right.
