Well said Allen.

I have to agree, I have known Dave for several years and always find
him enthusiastic and knowledgable. A few years ago a friend of mine
lost a water pump at the "Rocks" show. Dave was handy with one right
there. He didn't help put it in, but then again there were like a dozen
people standing there.

He has reason to want to increase the membership. As someone pointed
out, the numbers of MGB's and ALL LBC's are falling. we need to stick
together.

I think a lot of the negative comments come from folks associated with
the AH clubs. The MG clubs are mostly not at all like that. In fact my
5-speed conversion is going to be in the Driver soon (as soon as I
finish the post transplant impressions part [sorry Kim - not yet]).

Dave, you walked into a group that was formed because a lot of folks
felt there was no place else to go. And some obviously have hard
feelings about it. Stick around and enjoy the fellowship here.

Larry

The bottom line: Sure, there's pain in adopting the Mac. But if I accept
that, I get to use a computer that works, and that pretty much does
what I
expect and want a computer to do.
