Anything over 60psi "hot" at 3k rpm is fine while 40psi at idle is great,
considering an acceptable "hot" min at idle is 10psi.
Your cruise cooling temp is just fine
(I've never had a bad temp gauge in over 35 years of driving Sprites, MGA's or
B's)
but it coolant temp is getting a little warmish in there in summer traffic.
Are you using the "late" multi-blade plastic
fan? If not, this should make a big difference over the earlier 4 bladed
types...
moves a lot more air at lower rpm's.
