OK, I would have thought that a loose distributor was a mechanical problem
too, but I won't whine about that.
The problem I had, & so many others on the list had, is failing to look
beyond the last repair for the problem. After 25 years in the auto repair
business I am well aware that any fault is blamed on the last guy who
touched it but that is not always the case.
It appears here that the problem was the fault of the second last guy who
touched it. ;-)
