Not quite -- Honda bought a share in Rover in the '80s, which allowed Rover
to produce variations on Honda designs, but the end result was finshed off
and built by Rover.  As Hondas, they were terrible, but they were some of
the most trouble-free Rovers produced since the old P6s....  Honda left that
relationship when BMW bought Rover...and hasn't offered to return since the
Germans spit them out again.
