Hi Don,
To me, this car's biggest attraction is its history as
the National Champion so that's what I'd consider its proper
period for restoration. While I can certainly understand your
desire to "run with the other Triumphs", without that particular
bit of history, it would just be another TR-4 race car instead
of something a bit more special. Of course, I'm no longer involved
in the vintage scene, so my opinion's probably heretic.
