Sometime about 1989, I went to one of those boring useless meetings we were
having at John Deere those days.
Jack got up with his portion of the presentation. I had never met him before
and he introduced himself. Jack said that his occupation was not at really at
John Deere.
He said, "I AM A RACE CAR DRIVER".
After the meeting, I followed him back to his office and we had our first
conversation, regarding cars and racing.
