Hi John,

Except that the block is full of scale buildup unless it has been 
recently chemically cleaned, & the insides of the radiator tubes have 
buildup. Also, solder bloom over the years can partially plug the tubes 
& the bonds between the tubes & fins can partially separate.
No 40 year old radiator is up to spec. The design was marginal in the 
first place. I once had a three year old BN2 that had similar problems, 
though not so severe.
