The original hubs are 8th/in (coarse). The knockoff for the new hub is also
coarse.
Earl said: If you had the correct hubs on the car to start with, they will
be the 'coarse thread' hub - and the outer bearing is indeed smaller.
This would imply the new hubs are machine wrong in that they should be fine
thread?
