First, on any questions that you have on particular parts assemblies or
operation, you can get a lot of information in the shop manual & factory
assembly manual. Part numbers are often referenced (as a third book, a
parts book is also helpful). Even though these books are all $20-$25 each,
they will save you a lot of time & rework. Look below for answers to you
individual questions (answers in CAPS).

WAS ANY DIFFERENT THAN PREVIOUS YERARS; I HAVE AN ORIGINAL SEAT FROM A 49,
IT IS DARK BROWN NAUGAHIDE TYPE PLASTIC/LEATHERETTE WITH WHITE AROUND THE
VERTICAL PORTION OF THE SEAT PIECE & AROUND THE SAME OUTSIDE EDGE OF THE
SEAT BACK. IT HAS A SMALL ROPE BEAD SEWN IN BETWQEEN (I THINK THE BEAD IS
WHITE TOO). I WOULD GO TO A LOCAL UPHOLSTERY SHOP TO GET PRICING ON A SEAT
REBUILD-THEY CAN ALSO REPLACE BROKEN/WEAK SPRINGS, CUSHION MATERIAL, ETC.
Dash and interior
