Basically I decided on the smallest carb Edelbrock makes. But, today I
called Clifford to ask for their recommendation on exhaust plumbing with
their intake and headers. I was told to use a dual exhaust system with 2"
pipe and stock mufflers for best performance.

Also, and two folks at Clifford have told me this, they think the 500cfm
carb is too much. They highly recommend the Holley 390cfm. I was told to
expect a 30% increase in power with this set-up.

Any feedback on the Holley 390? I have heard in the past that Holley carbs
are trouble. True or false?
