Don't overlook the Mallory dual point.  I have one that works beautifully.
The mechanical advance means you can get rid of an ugly vacuum line.
Patrick's sells them.

I haven't tried an HEI, but at the RPMs a 235 sees, I doubt it could be any
better than a dual point, and they're a little truer to the period than HEI.
