Hey all- Just ran across a 283 at a price that I couldn't turn down, with the
intent of swapping it into my '57 3100. The engine is complete and running,
but I'm not sure what pieces I need to make it work in my truck. I guess I'm
now in need of a front mount, but also, how do I hook my floor starter button
to it? Anything else I need? Will my existing bellhousing work? What about
the clutch assembly? The truck it is coming out of is also a 4 speed, so I
can grab the bellhousing if necessary.
