I also agree with this to a large extent, but on a related note, if you
post a question to the list, it would be nice to get a follow-up e-mail
posted to the list once the problem is fixed.
You could use this e-mail to summarize the replies you got off-list, as
well as to tell the list what the problem actually turned out to be, and
how you got around it.
