I have seen it done,and it looked ok.  Alot is gooing to depend on the color
and year of the car.  I saw it on a bright red gt-6 mk III, looked good.  I
don't think I would do it to my spit though.  I have never heard of it being
standard on a spit, but all TR6s are this way.

Hello,

The sales brochure photos for my '72 show that the rear\valence (where the
taillights are) was painted black.  Has anyone ever actually seen
a car like that?  Does it look any good?  My '72 has
no evidence of black paint there...
